CUTTING EDGE PRODUCTS, INC. was founded in 1992 out of my desire for a good quality & truly Portable hunting Blind. After examining every Blind I could find, I finally realized that the only way to get what I desired was to design and build it myself. Being an avid hunter since childhood, bowhunter since 1972 and a mechanical engineer with 20+ years of product design and manufacturing experience was a definite plus in this endeavor.  

Striving to create the best possible Portable Hunting Blind, in both quality and versatility I was off and running. Although my idea of the perfect Blind, likely far exceeded those of most others, I elected to incorporate all the features that I desired. Knowing that if it satisfied me it would also satisfy the majority of other users. Hence the Hide-Out Blind and Cutting Edge Products, Inc. was founded.  

Striving to improve and simplify the original design has been an ongoing process. In 1995 I started testing and refining a pop-up design, this system finally met with my requirements in late 1996. One of these requirements was that it would be retrofitable into every Blind that I had ever built, which eliminated the need for my existing customers to purchase a new Blind. 1997 saw the addition of the noiseless window system, which again was designed to retrofit into all existing Blinds.  

Originally I started designing and marketing Hunting/Outdoors related products in 1984. This first product was a Broadhead sharpener (that I still manufacture today) for sharpening all 2,3 and 4 blade (fixed blade) broadheads (Custom Edge Broadhead Sharpeners).

In 1995, after numerous customer request, and with no seat that I could find on the market meeting my requirements; the Aluminum Tree Seat (that would work with any tree stand) was designed.

National Advertising on a limited basis started in 1996 after I was satisfied with the design and performance of these products.  

Today CUTTING EDGE PRODUCTS, INC. distributes many quality Hunting/Outdoors related product lines, besides manufacturing our own products. These products are uniquely suited to the avid outdoors person, hunter and photographer.
